What is the Gartner Magic Quadrant report?

Gartner is a leading technology and research company, which produces the Magic Quadrant report by evaluating technology vendors within four categories: Challengers, Leaders, Niche Players, and Visionaries.

What does it mean to be called a Leader?

According to the report, Gartner defines Leaders as providing “mature offerings that meet market demand. They have demonstrated the vision necessary to sustain their market positions as requirements evolve. The hallmark of Leaders is that they focus and invest in their offering to lead the market and affect its overall direction.”
